Carina M. de la Torre

Co-Founder, The de la Torre Law Office LLC

ABOUT CARINA

Carina de la Torre co-founded The de la Torre Law Office LLC in 2011, where she focuses her practice on asset protection. With this core focus, Carina represents clients with a variety of legal needs: creditor/debtor rights and bankruptcy, commercial and residential real estate (from closing to litigation), and estate planning and administration. Years of litigation experience provide Carina with a special perspective for crafting tailored solutions as part of proactive asset protection planning. Clients facing the prospect of litigation or bankruptcy benefit from Carina’s extensive experience as both a trial lawyer and appellate advocate in the federal, state, and bankruptcy courts.

Prior to co-founding The de la Torre Law Office LLC, Carina practiced with Bose McKinney & Evans LLP – a well-respected and established large law firm in Indianapolis, Indiana – where she enjoyed a broad-based commercial law practice in the firm’s Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy, Litigation and Appellate Law practice groups. In 2011, Carina co-founded The de la Torre Law Office LLC with her sister and law partner, Adriana de la Torre, in order to focus her practice on serving individuals and small- to medium-sized businesses who could benefit from her experience through a variety of fee arrangements designed to honor their budgetary expectations.

Carina also speaks Spanish and is dedicated to serving the needs of her diverse client base. She continuously strives to provide the highest level of representation, seeking creative and individualized solutions for her clients regardless of whether they need to protect assets through effective planning or are faced with the prospect of litigation or bankruptcy.

Outside the office, Carina is a Master Gardener who serves her community by volunteering through the University of Florida IFAS Extension Office in Seminole County. She is passionate about sustainable food production and automotive restoration, including her 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle restoration project. She enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and young twins.
